Welcome to our fifth anniversary celebration and the kick off of our new blog. We wanted to bring a more personal and in depth look into our bright, colorful and sometimes wacky world of yarn. While our website is always available for your shopping needs, this venue gives us the chance to interact with you, our faithful customers (both virtual and physical) on a daily basis. It also enables us to update you on the general goings on here at Flyings Fingers without waiting for “web-guys”.
Flying Fingers is very happy to celebrate five wonderful years of service to the knitting and crocheting community. As many of you know it has been about a year since we moved from our old location to our exciting and vibrant new home here in scenic Tarrytown, New York.
We have settled in very nicely. Wooly Wooly, our big mascot sheep, is on the street, our Yarn Bus is back in service and we are ready to get your needles flying.

I usually write to you from my home site, but I keep forgetting and wanted to thank you very much for the beautiful green yarn you sent me. I leave it on the kitchen table so that I can see it when I’m home. Don’t know what I will do with it, but I need to have it in view. Thank you for your kindness. Dolores Jackson
